Major progress is being made on Reese’s Cupfusion ahead of its opening this summer. Out front, Lady Bug and Bizzy Bees kiddie rides have been “taken over” by the villains of Cupfusion, Mint the Merciless and The League of Misfit Candy. The Cupfusion entrance & exit area has been redesigned, building exterior is receiving a new style, theming & signage is being placed in the queue, and more.
We are very excited about this attraction as it is going to be an entirely new ride experience, nothing like the ride that used to be there. We will keep everyone posted in the coming weeks as we approach its grand opening.
Hersheypark has a new tram circle and a temporary park entrance for 2019 to accommodate Chocolatetown construction.
We’ve seen your questions, and are excited to release a full walk through video of the new tram circle, temporary path, and temporary front gate! You’ll see along the path a relocated wheelchair rental building, relocated Ticketing Services, a new temporary Season Pass Services building, retail trailers, a Dunkin’ Cart, and restroom trailers.
Additionally, the permanent new Tram Circle area is ready to go closer to Chocolate World and with a new loading building that can hold hundreds of people!
The new front gate, albeit temporary, is still much more streamlined than the old one. With 17 wide and free flowing entry lanes in a row, scanning into the park is easier than before — certainly a sign of things to come in 2020 when the permanent new entrance opens.
